Hi

How many avg IOPS do Winflector executes while idle?

How many avg IOPS do Winflector executes per session when in use?

The question is because I am going to go for a VPS and the provider states that there should not be more than 70 average IOPS for more than 1 hour period.

I want to add up iops so I do not exceed that, and knowing Winflector iops would help not to break thir TOS.

Thank you

What you mean by IOPS?

If you mean input/output for disks then idle Winflector does not execute any disk operation. An average I/O for an application strongly depends on the application.

If you mean network I/O then Winflector sends about 300 bytes of keepalive packages for minute to an idle client. Network traffic generated by an active application depends on the application.

If you have a test period with your VPS provider just make such test to be sure that limits are not exceeded.

I meant disk reads / writes. It is great that Winflector isn't resource intensive.

Thank you!
