Hi!
I tried to use Wf and seems to be very handfull. But defining apps on server side for users is not exactly what I'm lookking for.
Is it possible to define different apps for different users? For instance user A can use apps AppA and AppB but user B can only use AppB. Can I achieve this using Wf configuration tool on server side?
Thanks and regards!

The current version of Winflector (3.1.0.2) allows to define applications available for all users only. We work on the version with more possibilities, including user/application permissions. The new Winflector release (with this option) is planned in two months.

Thanks for quick reply. Waiting for Winflector 3.2!
And one more question/suggestion. I tested one of my apps. One of its features is data import from Excel, Access, text... Program opens explorer window to help user find file to import. But this explorer also allows user to manage all files from all drives on server! Probably I have to use Windows Authentication and allow user to see the app drive only. Is there any plan to add a feature to allow Wf user access to specified drives only?

You are right: to solve this with Winflector 3.1 you have to use Windows authentication. We plan to support more complicated file system permissions for Winflector users, with a client file system remoting. These features will be added in next releases (not in the nearest).

3.1.1 is NOT the release you've mentioned, is it?

I am really sorry, but it is not. The next upcoming release (3.2) will not have this functionality, either.

Since Application Access Control would be a useful feature and is not yet included in Winflector 3.6.0.0, do we have any roadmap as to when the same maybe implemented?

Winflector 3.6.0.0 allows to assign applications to users. Please define applications for sharing, then go to users accounts. Click 'Applications' button on the right bottom and choose applications allowed for the selected user. Then highlight the next user and repeat the action until everything is defined as wished.
