Hi, could it is possible to define application list on server side publishing to client only applications availables on server for that client ? So administrator can define users and application they can uses on server without define them for each machine. Best Regards, Francesco |

Very good suggestion. That is exactly what is planned for future releases of Winflector. The software will be extended toward a private cloud server which will manage all the data necessary for delivering the user the application by simply selecting it from the server-supplied list. The cloud server will be responsible for locating the application, choosing the right application server from the server farm and load balancing. Implementing the whole idea will take some time but in the nearest future (June-July 2011) we plan to release version which allows the client to choose from the global application list delivered by the server. The applications defined on the server in the allowed applications list will be presented to the user for selection. Regards, Jacek |

New version 3.1 of Winflector implements the submitted suggestion. Now the list of shared applications is presented to the user on the client machine. Launching the application is as easy as clicking on the right icon. |
