Hi

On Android the native client provides a good keyboard with all the required function and cursor keys. For the HTML5 client it's the OS default keyboard that is provided and if you have installed other keyboard layouts they are available to you.

Ipad keyboard layouts are pretty hopeless for running PC apps, I have not found any replacement popup keyboards with all the required keys. As there is no native client for IOS the only option is the HTML5 client. When using the HTML client on an Ipad the popup keyboard initiated by a two finger tap is a very restricted keyboard dispite having different keyboards installed there is no obvious way of selecting these.

As it stands the Ipad is unfortunately pretty much unusable with our application. Is there any possibility of providing a native client with a PC like popup keyboard or any way to allow 3rd party pop up keyboards?

Hi,

Unfortunately, I can only confirm that the current state is as you have described. The HTML5 client is limited and was never meant to be as powerful as a native client. Also we don't provide a native iOS client. It would be good to have a 3rd party system keyboard for iOS which provides a full Windows keyboard experience but again we are not aware of such solution and I think you confirm this. We understand the issue and we have to think what is the best solution of the problem but unfortunately we don't have any good answer at the moment.

Ok thanks for the reply. Looks like our customers will have to stick with Android devices for now at least.
