hi! we're currently investigating the possibility of getting a network attached storage system and using it in our windows shop. as part of our due diligence, we're wondering if winflector would work well with folders mapped to NAS. any potential problem we need to be aware of? (we're NAS novices). thanks for helping! |

Hi, You should remember that: 1. Applications installed on shared folders usually have fewer permissions than those installed on local disks. 2. Winflector server is launched 'as administrator', and shared folders must be mounted 'as administrator' too. You can use network shared folders mounting option in Winflector server. 3. Unstable network connections and disconnecting shared folders can cause problems in running applications.
